A Place you’ve Been Looking For

Do you ever feel lost in the world? Why am I here? What’s my purpose? What does God expect from me?  we want you to ask those questions. We may or may not have answers. But we’re committed to working together as the body of Christ to help you discover the answers to these questions.

Being a Christian is being part of a community striving to love one another and serve others. It’s not easy, but we believe it’s important for people to learn more about their faith and share it with others.

Maybe you’ve never been to church. Maybe you grew up in church but haven’t been in one in a long time. Whatever the reason you’re checking us out, we hope and pray that Souls Harbor Church is the place you’ve been looking for.

 

What We Believe…

  1. We believe in the BIBLE to be the inspired Word of God.
  2. We believe that there is ONE GOD, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe in the DEITY OF JESUS CHRIST; that Christ is the only begotten Son of God, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Christ died for our sins, was buried, and raised from the dead, that He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor.
  4. We believe that ALL HAVE SINNED and come short of the glory of God. And that repentance is necessary for the forgiveness of sins.
  5. We believe in the SANCTIFICATION as subsequent to regeneration and is a definite act of grace; obtained by faith on the part of the fully justified believer.
  6. We believe that the PENTECOSTAL BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS AN ENDUEMENT OF POWER FOR THOSE WHO HAVE CLEAN HEARTS, and the initial evidence of the reception of this experience is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
  7. We believe that the saved should receive WATER BAPTISM, in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost, as a testimony to the world that he has accepted Christ as Savior and Lord.
  8. We believe in DIVINE HEALING as provided in the Atonement.
  9. We believe in the SACRAMENT OF THE LORD´S SUPPER as commemorating Christ’s death and anticipating His Second Coming. And feet washing.
  10. We believe in the PERSONAL, PRE-MILLENIAL, SECOND COMING OF CHRIST; first, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to meet Him in the air; second, to reign with His saints on earth a thousand years.
  11. We believe in the bodily resurrection of BOTH SAVED AND THE LOST; the saved to life eternal, and the lost to everlasting punishment.
  12. We believe that JUSTIFICATION IS BY FAITH, and that regeneration or the new-birth through faith is in the blood of Christ is absolutely essential.

We know coming to a new church can be intimidating, but we don’t want it to be! That’s why we have put together some information for you about what you can expect here at SOUL’S HARBOR CHURCH. We hope this answers your questions and puts you at ease. Most of all, we hope to see you on Sunday!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?     We invite you to wear whatever is comfortable. While “business casual” is the norm, you will see everything from shorts and jeans to business suits. However you choose to dress, we want you to feel comfortable here and able to connect with God and with other people.

When should I arrive?     Feel free to arrive a few minutes early so you can meet our pastors and get to know our church family.  Services start at 10:30am and 5:00pm on Sundays and 7:00pm on Wednesdays.

What should I bring?     Just bring you! If you have a family, please bring them, too!
While we do project scriptures and song lyrics, if you have a Bible, you could bring that as well. If you don’t own a Bible, let us know. We will get you one!
